We consider the SafePal S1 to be a very cleverly solved variant of a hardware wallet. The device generates a unique QR code on the built-in screen, which can then be scanned with the smartphone and the associated software. According to the manufacturer, this creates a security advantage, since, unlike other manufacturers, the wallet is never physically connected to another device. We also really like the combination of a haptic operation and a color display. SafePal certainly does a lot differently from the competition and is a real alternative to other products in this category. However, since trust, transparency and open source are important criteria for us, we would rather resort to the more well-known competing products. If these points are not so important to you, you can order the SafePal S1 without hesitation, because it is a great, high-quality wallet that scores both with the low price and many comfort and security functions.
